Another place I just remembered was called Bali. It was a floating restaurant on the Ocean that was located near the traffic circle just past town. It served Indonesian food. As best as I can recall, it closed over 20 years ago.

Another I will miss. Posted by Eddy on another board.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SAN NICOLAS-Amazing is the name of the new restaurant to open in
downtown San Nicolas on October 2nd. The restaurant will be located in
the locale of the former restaurant The Promenade. At present the locale
is being remodelled and made ready to be one of the most popular
restaurants on the island.
Kurt Hoffmann, chef of the new restaurant has ample experience, and
worked in restaurants in Switserland, England, U.S., Spain and Belize.
Hoffman migrated to Aruba in 1992, and has not left the island since.
Amazing will be a spacious restaurant, and is opened 6 days a week,
from 11:30am until 11:00pm. The restaurant will be serving international
cuisine at a good price.
Tapas and samplers will be served every Friday night. Keeping the
tradition of The Promenade, Amazing will remain the place to choose your
favourite Amazing Champagne Sunday Brunch. Locals as well as tourists
are invited to try out Aruba’s newest and soon to be popular restaurant
in San Nicolas.
EBB, are you referring to the Promenade?
Just so everyone is aware they have relocated to the Sun Plaza near the low-rise resort area.
