So if you have no idea about what fish is supposed to be like, and you order Grouper it should be thick, white & dense? How does that compare to Tilapia?

I don't know about main lobster because I've only had lobster in NY or Aruba and who knows where it came from but it did taste like the lobster I've had. The same texture at least..

You'd know Maine lobster from the really big claws....... Caribbean lobsters do not have the big claws..... The Maine lobsters are from the icy North Atlantic and to me (and lots of others) has better flavor than warm water lobster. Lobster in NY would normally be Maine or Canadian lobster.

Thanks for clarifying CPJones. I once order lobster tails from Omaha Steaks who has a seafood division. I've also ordered the chillean sea bass from them which was out of this world but very expensive. Anyway the choices were warm lobster tail or cold lobster tail and I was like I dunno. The warm lobster tail were cheaper which I ordered and now I know why they were cheaper. Next time I will try the cold lobster tails. Thanks
