Flying Fishbone

We are visiting Aruba for the 4th time this year and on prevous trips have heard countless excellent reports about the Flying Fishbone.. I was just curious if others have had similar experiences, how difficult it is to find, and any other tips that could be helpful.

Yes...... The flying Fishbone is good. As a taxi is very expensive, about $30 US each way, I would make reservations and that day rent a car. You can explore the island in the day time and use it to go for dinner for about $50 US.

I was able to make reservations online for Monday, June 25th for dinner. I was able to choose the seating also. All I have to do is confirm by phone when I get to my favorite place in the world! Maybe that will help you. Doug.

We went 4 years ago and loved it. We are going back in July and will make sure we plan an evening there. We didn't have any problems finding it. They had signs that were very helpful. We just followed the signs.

I went to their website & wanted to make reservations online - but they asked for a credit card & their website is not secure.

Did you have to provide a credit card when you made your reservations??

How far in advance do you think they book? Could we make reservations when we get to Aruba??

I have found some places in Aruba are booking into 2010!! (lucky me!! )

Yes, they request a credit card. Use their form on the page at http://www.flyingfishbone.com/contact/contact.html and tell them that you are submitting 2 forms for ONE reservation. Include the first part of your credit card number in the first submittal and the rest of the number in the second submitted form. Or of course, make the phone call and do it that way.

Personally, I would make a reservation about 2 months in advance for a table on the beach at the water's edge.
