Flying Fishbone at Sunset

Hi all...can anyone tell me aprroximately how long a meal for two will take at Flying Fishbones? (Probably an appetizer, and main dish, no desert). If you have a reservation, do they tend to seat you promptly at that time? I have read service is a little slower in general in Aruba, which is perfectly fine. Im just trying to determine what time to make a reservation, to be able to catch the sunset, which is approx. 6:34pm on the day we'd go. (In September). My choices are 530pm or 6pm. I dont expect most people keep a close tab on their watches in Aruba, but if anyone can give me a general idea, that would be greatly appreciated!

5:30...no question. After a slow seatting, and a slow drink you'll be at a perfect time.

Last September, my boyfriend and I had 6pm reservations and were still there with enough time for the sunset (and great pictures Also, when you call to make the reservation, make sure you request that you want to sit ON the beach, otherwise you might not get put there. We are going back 2 weeks from today and cannot wait!!!

I love that place after dark too.

Close your eyes and imagine: candle light with the one you love, the sound of rustling palm fronds, gentle lapping of waves upon the beach, a beautiful breeze and your toes tucked in the nice warm sand...

Two hour dinner at Flying Fishbone

We had a lovely meal at the Flying Fishbone from beginning to end it was 2-2.5 hours. Plenty of time to watch the sunset. People waiting for a table at the bar were putting bug spray on which concerned us but we were not bothered by bugs at all. We're from Maine where we have plenty of black flies so we really didnt want them on vacation. We took pictures of our feet in the sand at our table. It was another beautiful meomory of our trips to Aruba.
