I heard of a plce called salt & Pepper for food $5 and up. this might help you on your "casual" days there. I will be doing the same. Leaving for me 2nd trip there and plan on one expensive dinner at El gaucho's adn then budget for my meals and Salt & Pepper will be a place I will frequent for budget reasons. Hope that helps

The tapas at Salt & Pepper can make for a very affordable dinner.

Grab your favorite beverage, put up dinner from THE KITCHEN and dine on the beach in front of your hotel.

Dining in Aruba is not overly expensive. It is rare the catch of the day is over a mid $20 range and most of the better places have something under $20.

For breakfast Dushi Bagel is a great option, reasonable and good.

Tomato Charles Pizza- has really good pizza and you can do take out. I hear there is a Five Guys on the Island now so that is good for a cheap meal but great burgers and Fries..

Iguana Cantina- they have all u can eat Fajitas on Wednesday nights, really good place.
You will also get a back with some coupons in it that you can use at different resturtants. Plus search online for coupons as well.

If you like fish, I would recommend Driftwood Restaurant. They have a very reasonable 3 course dinner and they catch their own fish. Great friendly service too.
