    Getting our list together

I知 going to TRY to stick to our list this year but our record is pretty much hitting half of the restaurants on our list. Since we will be in Aruba over Thanksgiving we wanted someplace nice for the holiday. We chose Elements as we are staying at the Bucuti so it will make for a relaxing day. Also, contacted Leslie to see if Legends would be open over the Holiday weekend. I know they used to close Scott痴 Brats over the holiday, so I wanted to check. Legends will be open so we値l probably head there at some point over the weekend. That痴 pretty much it. The rest of the vacation we値l end up where the mood strikes us. Other restaurants we池e thinking about are:

    Alfies
    Dutch pancake house
    Daniels
    Yemanja, and
    We R Cuba

I知 open to suggestions for anyplace that offers some type of special dessert. Your thoughts?

re: legends..... i wonder if Leslie's famous turkey sandwiches will be on Legends menu on turkey day?

Leslie said she was pretty sure they would be serving turkey and all the fixings but I don’t know about the sandwiches. I thought about cancelling the Elements reservation but for some reason the idea of just hanging out at the resort is appealing. We will definitely get to Legends though.

Looking forward to your review of “The restaurant”!

I read a pretty good review of We R Cuba, and it will be convenient to Bucuti. You are going to love it there. Elements is great - they give you enough time to enjoy yourself, without the feeling of dragging things out. I also recommend a stop over by Pega Pega at Manchebo for lunch, lots of good options.

It looks like your planning is coming right along. So many nice restaurants to choose from it is always difficult for me to choose. I know you will enjoy any of them.

Our list is all ready starting to shift and we’re not even there yet! Elements, where we have reservations just posted their Thanksgiving menu and neither of us found it appealing. Hoping they will also be serving their regular menu as well but will need to email and ask I guess. Also, on their website it says holiday buffet but when you open the menu it reads like a fixed menu. Kind of strange.

Our fall back back will probably be Madame Janette. Also, considering Chop House at Manchebo. Any thoughts?

If not Elements on Thanksgiving, will you go another night?

We’ll definitely go another night. However, if they offer the regular menu, as well as, the Thanksgiving menu we’ll keep the reservation. I’m thinking of emailing the concierge tomorrow to ask. I figure we’ll be having lunch there the first day, breakfast each morning and at least one dinner. That leaves us plenty of time to get to Legends and We R Cuba. The rest of the time we’ll wing it. I can also see us wandering over the Pega Pega in the afternoon and skipping dinner.
