Scotts Brats.....maybe no turkey sandwiches there this thanksgiving.
The folks that are working there full time now, the turkey is just too much off site prep work for them.
Yes Leslie and Scott are still principal owners.

and, i forgot to ask about if Legends was serving turkey.

I sent Leslie a PM last week asking if they would be open over the Thanksgiving weekend. She said they would be opened and would probably have turkey with all the fixings. For myself, I don’t really care if we have turkey as I always do a turkey at home so we don’t miss out. I do tend to obsess on wanting the perfect spot for the holiday. Would probably be much better off just deciding last minute.

So, I emailed the concierge today and she got back to me with the correct Thanksgiving menu. They will be serving a buffet with turkey and traditional fixings; shrimp in spicy cream sauce; Mahi mahi; assorted salads and desserts. Sounds good!!

On a side note, the Bucuti staff is very responsive. The concierge staff introduced herself as our personal concierge. In addition to answering my question she offered information on the activities (sunset cruise etc) that they offer and provided a link for advance check in so we’ll only have to sign in when we arrive. I think we’ll like this place!!

We ended up at Redfish by accident, had plans to go to the Cove and get their grouper sandwich on the last night but they were closed due to a plumbing issue. So we said what the heck and ran over to Redfish. I had the grilled Mahi and my wife had the fried shrimp. It took 5 minutes from time of order till our plates were at the table. The fish and shrimps were so fresh and soooo good. Just putting that out there, we had no reservation or plans to go there, it was 8:30, no wait and a total hit with us.
