Gianni's
I was invited to dinner with a friend and Mrs. 44 and I happily joined the group at Gianni's. After all these years going to Aruba, I've finally had a meal here. Not sure what I was waiting for, but now the box is checked. Overall, the experience was a good one. Service was on top of things, the food good, and the ambiance generally agreeable with the exception of a little bit of road noise. (To avoid that, take a table inside.)
Started with a green salad moved on to a fusilli bolognese which was a bit different but good. Mrs. 44 enjoyed the caprese salad which comes with a ball of mozzarella as opposed to slices. She said it was flavorful as was the osso buck, which she wiped out, including the marrow from the bone. Another dish was the rigatoni with artichokes in a white sauce which was reported to be tasty like the others. Finished up with a brownie. This is a big restaurant. Make reservations. Enjoy it all. We were delightfully surprized at our last visit. First and second visit was bad....not really sure why we went back for a third time, but we did, and we were very happy we had.
