gift certificat

Hello just asking if anyone did buy some gift certificat at any restaurent (exempt Madame Jeanette Barefoot ect ) ,Have any problem to receive it or use it .I am looking to give some gift certificat for Christmas .

have bought gift certificates
bought one for TABASKO.........restaurant went out of business b4 we used it :-(
bought one for Elenora's karzy grill...............ditto

bought numerous for MJ, BUCCANEER and TULIP..........worked out well.

I highly recommend the AGA gift certificates if the restaurants on the list are what you want.

the gift certificates cost $45 each and are actually $50 gift certificates.
you must purchase a minimum of 2.

it is an excellent deal IF you were planning on dining at the restaurants in the AGA plan.
for us it was BUCCANEER and AMADEUS.

I was looking at some restaurent and at they end off they menu said $5.00 surcharge for the gift card .I guest isn't work it .thanks again for all they information.

i did not know there was any surcharge associated with the "gift certificates".
there is a surcharge on some of the restaurants using the AGA dine around coupons.
(such as amazonia and laguna)
but a $5 surcharge for using the gift certificates?!

i went to the site and could not find it, could you direct me to it?

i do not want to recommend the gift certificates to people if there is a surcharge.
in my experience it was a $5 savings.
we used them for Amadeus and Buccaneer

I look at the menu Amadeus exempt at they end of the menu page they said star items indicate 5.00 surgage for dine around coupons just above we are not charging 15% on your bill .I Probley I read wrong with my french sometime .Correct me if read wrong .

the dine around coupon is in the dine around program.

the gift certificates are NOT in the dine around coupon program.

the $50 gift certificate is worth $50 to be applied to your bill.
the gift certificates are not the coupons.


if you go to the AGA page and read about the AGA dine around program it will show all.

2 separate programs
*the "dine around program" using the coupons/vouchers, which has some surcharges at particular and listed restaurants.

*the gift certificates which can be used at any of the AGA dine around restaurants. the price is $45 for a $50 gift certificate. minimum purchase is 2 gift certificates.

ex: Our bill at Amadeus was $60. we used an AGA gift certificate. it was a $50 gift certificate. So when we paid our bill we used the gift certificate and added in $10 and added in another $12 for tip.

No surcharge using the gift certificates.
Only surcharge on the Dine Around.
