Gluten free dining

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any experiences dining out gluten free. Maybe you can recommend a specific place to eat or some hints. This is my 2nd time to aruba, but my first time travelling with this specific dietary need.

I would call ahead (before dinner service begins) and check with the chef. I am sure that Kasi at MJ's and the chefs at Rumba and Bingo will be able to suggest (or create) a dish that will appeal to you.

If I remember correctly some posted a while back that they stayed at the Amsterdam Manor and Chef Mark was able to look after their requirements at Mangos.

But I thought Mark was now at The Garden at The Mill Resort. Is he doing both?

If have it correct.

Mark: Used to be at the AM and is now at the Mill.

Marc: Is the chef that replaced Mark.

That was my friend Stacy's mother. She's been traveling to Aruba for over 20 years and brings alot of her own food (like rice pasta) that the chefs are more than willing to cook for her. She just lets them know in advance what she needs. She stayed with us one year at Amsterdam Manor and Mango's took very good care of her.

Yes, there are 2 Marcs.....now being referred to as Marc 1 (now at The Garden at The Mill) and Marc 2 (new F&B Mgr at Amsterdam Manor). Both are wonderful at their jobs (very accommodating to special dietary needs!)
