    Restaurants near Bucuti

A good idea is to rent a jeep or car for a couple days so you can venture out and explore the island and visit many of the fabulous restaurants that Aruba has to offer. We have been visiting Aruba for almost 32 years and there is so much to see and do. The Flying Fishbone or the Old Man and the Sea is a must see and do. The cost of a taxi to either of these restaurants is very expensive and costs more then you would have rented a car or jeep for the whole day. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. You will love Aruba

the manchebo -right next to bucuti - serves a good relatively cheap lunch - remember too that you get a full breakfast at the bucuti that you can fill up on - we usually share a single lunch item, which keeps the price down.

Chalet Suisse is close and very good for a nice evening. They are open Tuesdays (closed on Sunday) Great variety of foods to choose from. We've had the sea bass, snapper, rack of lamb and filets-all wonderful.

thank you all for the wonderful ideas!! we will be renting a jeep one day to explore the island and we were going to do Old Man and the Sea that night. I am sure this will not be our only trip to Aruba so i will be sure to make it to the other places on return trips!
