Which is your favorite restaurant for steaks?

LG Smith, Amazonia, Texas de Brazil all rank highly and are within walking distance from the high rises and LG Smith is short distance from the main bus terminal in downtown Oranjestad.

Always liked El Gaucho...never had a bad meal there although I have also had many folks not agree with my choice....Texas de Brazil had great steaks, but for the price you really have to go hungry...as in do not eat anything after breakfast....
french steakhouse also is a favorite....
Madam Janettes for surf and turf is my absolute fav....

How is the Ruth Chris? We have eaten there in the US but have not in Aruba. Comparable to other Ruth Chris's?

We have eaten at Ruth Criss and thought it was comparable with the States. Very good service and a great meal. Maybe a little pricey but depends on what you are accustomed to.

El Gaucho is by far the best steak in Aruba IMO. Much less expensive than Amazonia, Texas de Brazil and Ruth's Chris.

For great steaks there are many choices - We have alot when we are there.

El Gaucho's
Sunset Grille at the Radisson - can be pricey
Ruth Chris - can be pricey
Chef's Tables
Daniels - this was a new stop for us last April and we LOVED IT!!
L.G. Smiths
Screaming Eagle

These are our favorite spots for dinner and a steak!! They also have other great choices for those who do not eat steak!!

Cook's

We enjoy Cook's, about 2 blocks from El Gaucho, toward the airport. Ommi is a great host and the steaks are great. They are remodeling, and now sure when they will reopen.

Pretty sure that Sept. 5th is on a Saturday this year.....only reason I know that is because that's my birthday.
