Great cheap eats!

We will be returning to Aruba in January 2012 (can't wait!). I've been reading all the posts about great restaurants, but as we know, many of them are very expensive! What about some suggestions on places where we can get great food without spending $50 to $75 per person (or more!) Kind of like what Guy Fieri would look for on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. We'll be staying at the Radisson. Also, did Ling and sons open a grocery near Palm Beach? Thanks.

A few suggestions:
- Pelican Nest on Palm Beach near Playa Linda - their mahi mahi sandwich is tasty
- Cafe Rembrandt - good food, great value . . . 20% off if you dine before 6:00 (or 6:30)pm
- Casa Tua - great thin crust pizza

No, Ling's has not opened near Palm Beach. Kong Fui has opened - just down the street from Wacky Wahoo . . . and Super Food is building a new store further south along L.G. Smith (where the mini-putt used to be) - it will be opened in mid-2012.

Thanks for the great suggestions! I love the French Steakhouse at Manchebo and have also enjoyed Salt and Pepper. Will definately check out Bugoloes!

As stated above, there are lots of options well below your price range. If you have a car, you can roll to different Guy Fieri-worthy places for most every meal.

See my usual haunts:
http://bentpage.wordpress.com/2011/0...ehouse-update/
http://bentpage.wordpress.com/2011/0...a-vieja-aruba/
http://bentpage.wordpress.com/2010/1...arrest-update/
http://bentpage.wordpress.com/2011/0...ions-and-food/

That's in no particular order and there are more. Just roam about and stop in to some place. In a worst case, you'll be out $20.

Bon dia.
