    Grilled Pineapple?

This may sound dumb but I was looking at some Aruba restaurant menus the other day and I saw grilled Pineapple on one of them. I can not remember which restaurant it was and cant seem to find it on any I have looked back at. Does anyone remember getting grilled Pineapple and where?

I know they have it at Amazonia but that wasn't the place.

A few years ago at Pam Pam, we had grilled pineapple for the first time.
    It was delicious!
It was served atop dirty rice as a side dish.
I have no idea if it is still one of the side dishes there.

We also had it many years ago at Tabasko, which has been closed since around 2002 or so.

off topic.........once or twice a year I will serve a spiral ham.
dear hubby always grills up a bunch of pineapple slices for the dinner.

Grilled fruits are awesome!! Depending on what the main course is we grill pineapple, peaches, figs, mangos and even apples.

I was just looking at the menu for West Deck. They have a chicken dish topped with grilled pineapple.

Ha ha. Don't grill the rum soaked pineapple Andreah, just munch on it....have to be careful though - it's pretty potent. I believe you are on island same time as we are this year. If I see you at Scott's I'll bring you over a treat. We hang around Playa Linda chickee #5 or 6, so we're close.
