My 'go to' happy hour would be Bugaloe on the pier across from the Rui. Bugaloe is a great lunch choice along with Salt and Pepper and Scot's Brats. There are tons of happy hours and restaurants with in walking distance of the Rui.

Here is my happy our list . We have eaten lunch and small bites at most of these places , some are better than others. Facing the water turn right and follow the path all the way past the Holiday Inn. Pass Moomba Beach.
From 12-1 Now Clubhuis has a lunchtime happy hour. They also have one at 4 or 5pm with music sometimes. great food.
Next stop at Moomba, not sure their happy hour times but they keep their website and Facebook page up to date.
Heading back towards your hotel after holiday in there will be a pier with Pelican's Nest Pier bar. Their haopy hour is 4-6.
Back on the path you can stop at Carlito's Sports Bar. They have all-day drink specials posted on a chalkboard. We have not had the best luck with food here so I wouldn't recommend that.
Next up stop at the Playa Linda Beach Bar you will see the white chairs right on the beach. They're happy hour runs from 12 to 7 everyday.
After that on your walk you can stop by Scott's brats and get a popsicle that is spiked with vodka for your walk. There are a couple places near the Hyatt but we aren't too familiar with them.
There is a beach bar at the Hylton too but I do not know their hours or their specials. We had a pricey lunch there so I don't really recommend that for food either. The food was just okay but definitely Resort pricing.
Your last stop on this trip will be close to your hotel out on the pier at Bugaloo. This is a great place for lunch and drinks. They also keep their Facebook page and website updated with current specials. On Tuesdays they usually have a pretty good band.

Tracey, Love that you gave a detailed happy hour list!! When we’re up that way we like the bar at Salt and Pepper for small plates and drinks.

Glad I clicked on this thread, awesome info here! We will be at the Hilton (RIU is next door) in just over two weeks (first visit to Aruba), so this is totally relevant to us while we are there. Thanks for sharing...
