Oh my goodness, there are TOO many good restaurants to choose from!!! I have Barefoot reserved for our last night... Flying Fishbone was going to be our first dinner (we arrive at 10pm on Sunday so we won't have time for dinner our first night). I'm leaning toward cancelling FF and adding something else....

I am really torn!! I had no idea dining on Aruba was so amazing -- we love good food and good wine, so I think we are in trouble! I believe our dining bills will far exceed our airfare costs!

Also, what is the deal with the service charges? Do you still tip on top of that when they automatically add a service charge? I've seen it only on a few websites...

    ? About Mandated Gratuity
check out the link above re: mandated gratuities.

bottom line if there is 15% added in, then you can add in another few dollars directly to your server...............or not.

IMHO, skip Fishbone and substitute Passions. Passions food is equal to Fly Fishbone and the dining experience to far superior too. FF has far to many tables on their beach.
Aruba where the toughest question each day is "where to dine tonight".
