    Hearing Restaurants Running Specials?

    Hallo,

Going down for our 5th trip to Aruba. Hearing many more specials being run this year due to it being slower than usual? Anyone have any first hand info on this with some details? This was a last minute 7 day trip. Our real trip to our favorite island is two weeks in October.

We have been to many places and have our favorites. Looking for anything that may be worth a look at special prices.

    Thanks,

    Ted

you probably should check the aruba tourist newspapers for dinner specials once you arrive.

summertime in aruba is not a quiet time.
it is certainly not as busy at the winter months but, if you are comparing June and October, October is much quieter.

the manchebo specials that lisa listed are good ones.
they are early bird specials and are year round.
if you go to one in june and enjoy, make note, and go back in october too.

My parents are snowbirds and are all over the 3 - 5 earlybirds in FL.

One of my fave specials is the Papillion Early bird. Chalet Suisse had a early bird 3 course special last year - not sure they still do.

We have taken advantage of the Salt and Pepper Tapas early bird special. For every 3 plates of tapas, get a free glass of Sangria.
