    High rise dining on beach

We normally stay in the low rise section of Eagle Beach but we will also be spending one week at the Marriott Surf Club next summer. What possibilities are there for sunset dining on (or nearly on) the beach along Palm Beach?

I have not been to these, but here are some options we have seen: Hyatt does a private dinner set up on the beach, Marriott has Simply Fish on the beach, Pelicans Nest is on a pier (not romantic), and Playa Linda has Azzuro which would give a beach and sunset view but is not on the beach.
Not sure when, but we will be back

If it's for the sunset and not necessarily on the beach, the Sunset Grille at the Hilton offers a nice view (patio not inside) of the grounds and sunset. If it's feet in the sand dining..... Hyatt and Hilton both come to mind.

For more casual dining in the sand or on a deck, right next to the Surf Club, you have Moomba. The water views can be obstructed . They have seating separate from the bar area. We've had some good lunches there. There is also Hadicurai right there on the sand but it gets mixed reviews. We liked it, but that was 5 years ago.

We love Azzurro at Playa Linda. It has beautiful views of the water and sunsets. It is one of our favorite restaurants. We really like the food.

We have dined at Azurro's but it was in the later evening, and yes the food was quite good. Another favorite is the Ruinas del Mar at the Hyatt which is also wonderful at sunset but not really near the beach. Ironically, we have stayed many times at La Cabana but have never dined at Passions (which is virtually across the street).

I used to love Ruinas all the time and then they changed their menu. Their "Newer" menu is more like the original one I remember from 20 years ago. We have reservations to for Ruinas when we return next week, and I hope its as good as it use to be. Ive eaten at passions a couple of times but I will be honest, despite really enjoying my meals at passions, I really rather eat off the beach...
