Kozlov Dance International, USA, will present New Year’s Gala on Saturday, January 1st at 9:00pm and Sunday, January 2nd at 4:00pm in the ballroom of the Occidental Hotel.

The New Year’s Gala will feature excerpts from the holiday classic ballet, The Nutcracker, as well as Leonid Kozlov’s lavish production of the fairytale, The Firebird. The performances are sure to delight with stunning costumes and scenery direct from the Bolshoi Theater Workshop in Moscow, Russia and the stellar dancing by Kozlov Dance International dancers.

Husband and wife, Leonid and Adriana Kozlov, who direct Kozlov Dance International, will star in the production. Leonid Kozlov, a principal dancer with the Bolshoi Ballet in Russia, New York City Ballet, and Broadway star has been presenting top quality productions in Aruba for the past 4 years, bring world renowned dancers to perform for Aruban audiences.

Joining the production this January is Albert Davydov, principal dancer with the New Jersey Ballet. Albert began his ballet training in Russia. He has traveled extensively as a guest artist performing in Europe and the US. He has won numerous prizes at prestigious international ballet competitions. Mr. Davydov will partner the talented Sofie Greenbaum in the crowd pleasing Flames of Paris pas de deux. Ms. Greenbaum is the recent gold medalist at the Sixth Youth Dance Festival of NJ.

Rounding out the cast is a talented group of dancers from Kozlov Dance International performing in The Firebird and Nutcracker Suite as well as dancers from the Club di Movimiento of Aruba, performing a stellar contemporary piece, entitled “Earth”.
