Ideas for a sunset dinner

Does anyone have reccomendations for sunset dinners on the beach? I have seen the pictures of the Flying Fishbone (looks awesome) and have made a reservation there for one night. What other suggestions do you have for a similar atmosphere....on the beach... watching the sun go down??

10 days and counting until our first visit to Aruba!!!

"Passions at the Amsterdam Manor
We ate four meals outside of the Tamarijn/Divi: Promenade, Gasparito, Passions and Pinchos. This was BY FAR the BEST meal we had and will definitely return. The meal pretty much cost nearly the same amount as Gasparito. If we had had more nights this trip we would have eaten there again. More about our experience here.."

Ate two sunset dinners and both were average at best. Simply Fish at the Stellaris was terrible for the price. View as great, food mediocre. Pinchos was a better meal but we would go back more for cocktails and appetizers than dinner.

We're also big fans of Passions. Photo of us at Passions in my signature below.

Thumbs up The Pirates Nest

Hi! I would recommend The Pirates Nest at the Bucuti Hotel. It´s a very nice place. The food is excellent, the view lovely and the personal are so friendly and just wonderful. We eat there almost every night.

We like Marina Pirata. It is located on a pier with nice view of sunset. Another that is nice is Pelican Nest, located on a pier in front of Holiday Inn.

There are many to choose from & most all are nice.

Thanks everyone for the insight. Would I need to make reservations for any of these suggestions and are some nights better than others as far as crowds?

Passions did not seem to have all that many tables. We made a reservation a few weeks before and had a table in the first row closest to the water, but we did request a time well after sunset.

No matter where you go on the beach for dinner, for sunset dining to be on the safe side, I would make a reservation.

Flying Fishbone and Pirate's Nest would be my recommendations.

La Trattoria el Faro Blanco Restaurant by the Lighthouseget there early & have a cocktail. Flying Fishbone is also excellent for the sunset but a n expensive & long cab ride (rent a car that day).
