You can participate if you want. Encouraging but no pressure.

Sometimes we are wiped out so if something can give us a pep in our step, I welcome it. Our best times out were when we had a friendly staff to learn from and laugh with, great atmosphere or eating interesting food. When you have a bunch of different ages going out together, a place with something fun going on would be a nice option. A comedy show comes to mind. I am all set on accordion, violin stuff.

Absolutely not. I don't even like live music in restaurants - especially in Aruba where "loud" seems to be more important than "talent".

Audience participation? H*ll to the naw. I go to dinner to eat. I don't want to get up from my meal. I wouldn't mind a jazz band of low volume, though.

Since I'm almost always in Aruba solo I wouldn't mind some entertainment. It would save me time from feeding the slots at the Casino's. Though I probably would still go to a Casino after the show. But I'm not interested in audience participation shows. I've done Tony & Tina's wedding at least 10 times and Sylvia's Funeral a few times (I think it was her funeral if I remember correctly) when I had my travel business. Those are fun when you are with a group of friends; but not in Aruba.

I did go to the show (not sure if it was called O) at Paseo Herencia mall upstairs by the Cinema. The show was entertaining with some very good singers and dancers. The dinner was just ok; but the service was really bad. It took forever to get your meal.

We go to the Bugaloe for entertainment but wouldn't mind just a comedy show and no dinner.

I'd have to pass on that one.......my wife and I did a "dine with the King" dinner a long time ago and it wasn't for me. I had to go and ask the "king" permission to go to the bathroom during dinner. I would probably be ok with someone sitting and playing acoustic guitar during dinner but that's about as far as I would go.
