Ann also from Rochester

Hi, Jeff. Just wanted to say Hi when I saw you were from Rochester. So am I! My husband & I leave for Aruba in a couple of weeks and will probably go back to Madame Janette's, where we had a wonderful meal. (It's a favorite of Brother Wease's also, who just came back from Aruba & spoke about his trip a lot on the air yesterday). He also recommended Mirandi & Papiamento. If you're big steak eaters, you might try the Amazonia. I don't think I could eat that much meat, but I've heard wonderful things about it. Whatever you do, enjoy, and I guarantee this will not be your LAST trip to Aruba!

Steak- El Gauchos- Hands Down

Seafood- Driftwood

The third would have to be Screaming Eagle- Get the Carte Blanche- and reserve a bed

Madame Jannettes is getting a lot of play here. Great Atmosphere, the food was good but didn't blow me away. JMHO.

We ate twice last week at Salt n Pepper, excellant both times, I asked what specials they had and was told that a local just brought in some barracuda, never had it before, so told the waiter to have the chef grill it and a little spicey. THIS WAS THE BEST FISH I EVER HAD !!!!! We, also tried Moby Dicks, nine of us went and will NOT go back, small portions and big bucks, they made the mistake of asking me how everything was and I told them...LOL, so the manager began to argue with me and make excuses...oops.
