I tried it in Aruba and really loved the flavor. Yes it did taste like chicken. Wasn't keen about the tail, skin and bones floating in the soup but you can fish around that. I would order it again. Just order oyster soup with a tail and they will know what you want. Lastly we did not kill any iguanas. I have to say we see tons of iguanas in Aruba. At Casa Del Mar they hang out on the clay roof. Throw out some fruit and you will see an abundance of them. Did not feel bad like we were eating a rhino horn or something like that. Sure we will get blasted for that!

(yes killing iguanas in aruba is unlawful)

15 or 20 years ago it was not unlawful so maybe someone with a recollection can answer
what does it taste like ?
    i know......tastes like chicken !?!?!

For many years we as a family have been going to Aruba... my son has tried the special soup and loves it ... I need yet to try... I would rather give them cherry's to eat and not eat them... than again
