I have been craving Indonesian rijstaffel (rice table) since I had it in Amsterdam. Are there any decent spots on the island? The owner of our hotel told us some of his guests have tried Different Chinese and Indonesian, but I can't seem to find anything about it on the internet. has anyone been?

My hesitation with DIFFERENT CHINESE (same owners as Lekker) as that each of the times I visited, the place was empty. With Chinese food on the island, an empty restaurant suggests food and ingredients that are less fresh. But you are in luck for your Indonesian rice table (which I also enjoyed in Amsterdam at Kantjil and de Tigre and Bojo's). Moomba Beach now does it on Wednesday nights.
