Hi

We are coming down in May and staying at LaCabana - does anyone know where this restaurant is located and can you get there by bus? We are not renting a car - and someone mentioned this restaurant to me. Also has anyone been there before? Any good reviews?

There are 3 locations for La Granja. Zandstraat 2, Tanki Leendert 249, and Savaneta 4. I had read a post that Aunte Mame has been to the Savaneta location. Hopefully she will see your post and respond.

It's a sort of cafeteria/fast food style with really great chicken, plantain, rice. Quite inexpensive.

if you are staying at LaCabana can you get there by bus?

You could, but I think it would be a little tricky. It's not the main line that runs from oranjestad up to the hotels, you'd have to take that line into Oranjestad and change lines to the L6 line (which doesn't run as frequently) into Tanki Leendert. Much easier to get a cab.
