Talking Italian Restaurants?

Hello,

Any italian dining choices on the island? (aside from standard pizza, etc).
Looking for recommendations on medium to upscale establishments.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Kathy,

Thanks for the link - this is exactly what I was looking for! :-)

I'll post my feedback on which restaurant I end up at when I return.

How many times have you been to Aruba?

OMG....Casa Tua is the place to be !!! Went twice the last trip, I would have gone there everynite if it wasn't for my families other choices. A MUST VISIT ! 2 locations, downtown and high rise area.

Casa Tua is above Rumba's behind Renaissance mall. Just opened while Cindyo and I were there in April.

The best italian food ive ever had was at the restuarant by the California Lighthouse, called La Trattoria El Faro Blanco. Amazing views, it's all outdoor, and they have amazing food. I usually get the 4 cheese ravioli which has a bleu cheese sauce, and for dessert they have a delicious homemade cannoli.

Wide range of Italian options.... For those on a budget, Casa Tua (there are two locations: highrise and downtown) and La Terraza, second floor across from the former Carlos and Charlies. They used to offer a 20% discount to timeshare owners too!

Stop by the lighthouse for the scenery while visiting the area, the pizza and food is extremely expensive. You are paying for the view.

We ate at Casa Tua downtown last night. It was very good. We sat out on the balcony facing the Renaissance and the almost full moon came up near the clock/bell tower. The house cab sav at $22/bottle from Chile was incredibly good for an inexpensive wine. But a first, we were approached by a panhandler walking back to the Ren. He was friendly, but pushy - gave him a buck and he thanked us.
