    Kamini's Kitchn/ Costa Riba

Last year I was looking for info on a restaurant in San Nicolas called Costa Riba. I have since heard that the restaurant had closed and the owner was looking for a new location. With our upcoming trip I got to thinking about it again. Well, when I looked on tripadvisor I saw recent reviews and thought great. However, when I read the reviews it was people saying that they called the owners number from her facebook page and she invited them into her home where she cooked them dinner! So when the posts said Kamini's Kitchen I thought that was the name of the new restaurant but it actually was Kamini's kitchen. Now I wouldn't be comfortable going to someone's home that I had never met, would you??

I've never met you and I'd go to your house for dinner...... Seriously...... Where there any negative comments on FB about eating at her home...? If not and you wanna try it.... go for it.

Is it legitimate in the sense that they take credit cards, are inspected, have a liquor license etc?

Actually, PegMeister... I started to think about this: I once had a spectacular meal at someone's house/restaurant, years ago, just outside of Pittsburgh but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me.

And one of Canada's best/most acclaimed restaurants is actually in the chef's farmhouse - and it's fantastic:

Who knows? Are you up for a gamble?

Not sure from the reviews whether she was just being nice inviting people into her home, or has established her business there. I'm on the fence with this one, husband is not interested. So I guess it's not one I can take for the team. I think I was just more curious what people thought of the setup.
