It's a fun time on the island. Lots if orange decorations and fun energy. We were there for Queens Day and Labor Day a few years ago.

We were there several times during the celebrations and would always go to the Dutch Marine Open House (in Savaneta) on Labor Day. Lots of fun with things to do and see (you can try repelling walls, tours of their ships, etc.) and alot to eat and drink with local vendors.

If you're there at that time again make sure you go. But definitely go early in the day, participate in some activities and tours and stay for lunch. It gets really crowded...but it's both fun and interesting.

The celebrations on the island was WOW !! (only word that can explain it)
