Talked to a worker who was cleaning up the outside of Le Dome Restaurant......

He said it will be reopening as a Restaurant and Club.

"Club" could be a Bar or Nightclub.

that restaurant is missed by many!!

i wonder what became of the condo/townhouse plan for that site?

I was referring to the mortgage money from Freddie Mac and others that were being lent out with Government backing them up. Now they are making money on the fore closers.

Is it possible they have a new location? The Oceana/?? condos next to Chalet Suisse are planning two more buildings in the rear part of the lot between CS and Paradise Beach Villas. The front portion of that lot belongs to CS and they are not selling at the moment.

I was surprised when we were there in November and saw the place was closed. Never ate there other than the Sunday Brunches...that were really great a few years ago, but the year before last we went and the food was not awful, but close....
Glad to hear though that it is going to be reopened as something else and closer to the low rise area....going up to highrise area is a pain in the you know what....no places to park and too many people.....

Was walking by this morning, this place is closed for good nothing happening there!!! no walls or roof, just the outdoor structure holding it... looks like they are ready to demolish this place... sad to see.
