There is a 20.00 off coupon that does ave restrictions.

The certificate has no restrictions.. it also has the tax and gratuity taken care of too.

For $109.00 for two people--its not a bad deal- its like getting a free dessert.

We were in Aruba last week and one of our favorite dinners was at LG Smith's. The steaks were great as was the service. We found the prices to be very reasonable. We've been to El Gaucho in the past and LG is much better.

The renaissance spa also has a package deal for couples to get a 50-minute massage on the private island (even if you aren't staying there this gets you on the private island), and dinner for 2 at LG's. Their brochure has more details on the package, but it sounds like a welcome drink (Kir Royal), salad, entree, and desert are included. It's called the Royal Romance package. It's $250. I'm thinking it sounds like a nice evening to kick off my honeymoon next week.

Aruba...I'd say we're a little more than slightly hooked! We'll be back as soon as possible

Royal Romance pkg

My husband and I have booked this package on May 15th (yes, just 3 days from now). The massages are in the Spa, not on the island. Here's the menu (I posted in this forum a month or two back): Kir Royal cocktail per person, choice of green or spinach salad for each, choice of either yellowtail tuna or petite filet as entree, mixed fruit with sabayon cream dessert for each. You might also want to note, if you usually eat early (we've got small children at home, so we usually do), the massages are at 6 PM and dinner at 8 PM. I'll need a snack so my tummy doesn't growl at the masseuse!

True that, I had the spa brochure and the royal romance brochure side by side and got cornfused. How long did it take to make the reservation. I've emailed them a few times now since early this week and no response...
Thanks

I can't believe so many people don't like El Gaucho's!

We go there every single year atleast twice per vacation, and they have the BEST steak I have EVER tasted. Juicy, big, and super tender and yummy. I always get the Gaucho Steak. Not to mention the delicious steak sauce, garlic sauce, and the onions! Also can't forget the Iceberg Wedge (with tons of blue cheese of course), and for dessert, the fried cheesecake... mmmmm! Just simply amazing. My father, girlfriend, and 2 little brothers think the exact same thing too. Never had a bad meal there.

Hello Everyone!!!

This will be my second trip to Aruba although I dont really count the 1st since it was only for a day on a cruise. My girlfriend and I will be staying at the Marriott Stelaris Casino and we are looking forward to eat at LG's at the Renaissance. She works for Marriott so we could get a 20% off our dinner BUT I've also read about the $109 dinner certificate, which one do you think would be a better deal for us?

Thanks!
