aruba is not known for its italian cuisine.

    I agree Andrea - I'll stick to NJ/NY Italian.

Italian is hard to please me with.... most other food I have had down there has been excellent.

believe it or not the best chicken parm i ever had was at (yrs ago) french steakhouse...
i am guessing it was b4 2005. fsh was always on our list.

the worst italian i ever had on island was at the restaurant on the highway not too far from the old ATA office. it sat all by itself. is it still there? name?

I totally agree. Italian food in NY/NJ/Boston/SF is so good that other than when we were in Italy where the food was unbelieveable we usually look for other cuisines. There are so many good restaurants in Aruba that we can't usually fit them all in during our week. Last year we tried Anna Maria's which we heard was terrific and we were very disappointed and would never go back there. Casa Tua does have very good pizza if we do need an Italian "fix".
