Would love to know if the Sunset Grille at Radisson has re-opened yet. Anyone?

Andrea,
That link for the Sunset Grille is a little old! Christopher Columbus stopped into the Sunset Grille and really enjoyed the flat steak! But he kept say "the steak she's a round".

Me thinks that goes back to the original point of this thread, "little buzz about these restaurants"

According to their website
http://www.sunsetgrillearuba.com/
"Sunset Grille will be closed the first week of April through early fall due to our property's refreshment project. "

I didn't eat at Cilo's on our last trip, but did eat there for lunch on our trip the year before. We thought it was very good. I love the food and the service at Chalet Suisse.

Cindy and Rob,

I was told by the Radisson directly, that Sunset and Mira Solo , is scheduled to be open in Oct, so In November, I would definately think they would be. Hope that helps

Haducuri(sp?) -not great value, would rather go to Wacky Wahoos

Mirandi -went last year and it was good but BAREFOOT is better (mirandi's chef is one of the owners)

Ruins d Mar -my son went last year and they changed the menu and he was so disappointed. He didn't like it at all, became "funky" for example the meat was in a dry cocoa powder. The waiter said lots of people complaining

Yemanja Woodfired Grill -we love it there and the prices are pretty reasonable

Suisse Chalet -stopped going there a few years back as they rushed us and gave us pretty poor service. We were a large group and they left a note on our table that we had to be gone by 9:15pm. They forgot our menus, didn't take our order promptly, and service was slow and then once our food was placed they rushed us to get out of there. IMO, food good but not amazing so we choose to go to other places instead

Cindy, we love, love, love Anna Maria's for Italian but you know its a dinning experience. We also like to do the early bird special at Blossoms Japanese. I would also strongly recommend you go to Barefoot-simply fantastic. We are partial to L.G. Smith if you want a steak night. Very similar in pricing to El Gaucho but a totally different experience. Another good place is Que Pasa, check out the menu and see if its to your liking.

We love Challet Suisse and it's our fav place on the island! Love it so much. Great food, amazing service, and just perfect every time we go.

I'd like to recommend Papiamento to those who have never tried it and to those who have not been there for a while. Eduardo Ellis is back and in charge. We see him at every visit. They have added music by an awesome guitar player and vocalist. The ambiance is second to none on the island. Ask for a table poolside (for two persons only) and enjoy the experience. I promise you it will be a night you will not soon forget.
