    Looking for Recommendations

    Hello Everyone!

I'm looking for some recommendations on restaurants. I will be celebrating my birthday while in Aruba and my wife and I wanted to go out for nice meal. I'm not big on seafood, I'm more of a steak guy. We were thinking of Ruth's Chris but we have one here in Toronto so I could just go to that one if I wanted.
Looking forward to your responses! Thanks everyone. (19 more days!!)

I would recommend making reservations as some of these are quite booked in high season:

my choice would be madame janette for a burgerloin steak or chalet suisse.

we have not been to el gaucho in years.

My husband LOVES the Burgerloin at Madame Janettes, and we both LOVE Chateaubriand at Chalet Suisse. Those are our choices if we want steak for dinner.

We have a Ruth's Chris 5 minutes from our house. We went there on our anniversary. We decided that we have been spoiled in Aruba . We didn't think that the steaks were as good, and the service definitely wasn't as good as we've had in Aruba .

Agree. Ruth's Chris was one of the worst meals we've had in Aruba... lots of other and better choices.

Chalet Suisse is always most Go-To for a very nice meal. I usually end up with the Rack of Lamb, but have had the steaks there before and they were great! And don't forget the chocolate mousse for dessert!

Our favorite steak place is Tango Argentine Grill. We have never had a bad meal there.

I too can vouch for both the skirt steak and ribeye at Tango, as well as the delicious chimichurri sauce.

Pass on Ruth's Chris.... normally a great chain but you can do that at home. Madame Janette's would be my first choice. Chalet Suisse, Screaming Eagle and Tango would all be good choices.
