Loved Aruba Destiny
Just came back from our fourth trip to Aruba, but haven't been there for 2 years. Decided to go to different restaurants that I saw posted on the message board. Loved Mirandi's like everyone said I would and Salt and Pepper was fun, but am so glad we went to Aruba Destiny. It was a real Aruba experience. Had the coconut grouper which was the special of the day so I got the Aruba Aruba drink included. (Much better than our hotels) Our daughers had a lot of different dishes and everyone thought it was one of the best dishes they had on the island. The owner, (I think his name was Rolando) walked around and spoke to everyone, and told us he was going to get his wife the chief and owner of Destiny, so stay there. We loved meeting her, she is, as her husband told us, the Martha Stewart of Aruba. We had our 3 20 something daughters with us, and they loved the feel of this restaurant, the real Aruba. I am so glad that I read about this restaurant, which only opened last year. I know this is one of those places we will visit year after year, and feel good about recommending it to other visitors.
