Making our list, checking it twice.....

In 20 days we'll be ready to "pig out" in Aruba once again. We have reservations at Barefoot. The only others on the list this time are Scott's Brats for lunch, Zeerover's for lunch and Amadeus for dinner.

We want to try places we haven't been to before for the rest of the time. Two we are thinking about are White Modern and Mirpas. Have any of you folks made recent visits to those two?

    Also, any other recommendations?

    Been to:

Amadeus (too good to pass up)
    MJs
    Carte Blanche (amazing)
    Simply Fish
    Ruth's Chris
    Bingo
    Linda's
    El Gaucho
Trattoria El Faro Blanco (great sunset, very marginal food)
    Charlie's Bar in San Nicholas
    Hadicurari
    Moomba
    Cafe Baci

    THANKS!

Were going in 3 weeks and have reservations at these 5 restauarants-also definitely going to Scott's Brats either for breakfast or lunch or both.

    Amuse Bistro
    Madame Janette's
    Barefoot
    Cuba's Cookin'
2 Fools and a Bull (similar to Carte Blanche)

7 nights is definitely not enough to hit all of the favorites. We'll probably go to one or two of these the other 2 nights:

    Chef's Table
    Wacky Wahoo
    Pinchos
    Smokey Joe's

I think next year we will have to plan for 2 weeks

Been to both White and Mirpas and both were great! Definitely will be back to both of them on our next trip in Sept.

Another new casual place that we liked was Barney's.

Our favorites for upscale dining: Passions, Screaming Eagle, Carte Blanche, 2 Fools and a Bull, and White.

So many to choose from though....it's always hard to pick favorites.

Jeff, you are absolutely right - two weeks are needed for the restaurant tour.

Amy - where is Barney's and what sort of food?

We have been to both also, I think the tenderloin I had at White was the best i've had on the Island.
Barney's is right next to Sole Mare... The chef use to be at MJ's so the food is great and very reasonable. The owners are very nice people (Dutch) Eline use to hostess at MJ's.
Looking forward to seeing you at Scott's Brats! Thanks for including us.

Website for Barney's below. They're located on Palm Beach Rd. before you get to Kong Fui.

    Thanks Amy,
    Both sound like winners.
