Marandi's at Laguna Pier - MENU & PICTURES

On Oct. 1st Marandi's moved to Laguna Pier. If your driving and not familiar with the area, it is hard to find. There is no sign that I saw on the main road. Eventually there are signs, but they are small and hard to see if it is dark. Since I was with Cheryl, we had no problem finding the restaurant as she lives nearby and I'm sure she knows how to get everywhere on the island.

We dined here Monday night, our last night in Aruba. I like this location much better. It's right at the water. Since most of the dining area is not covered, I don't know what they are going to do if it does rain.

I was really hungry so I only had the the Laguna Salad and the Mushrooms & Escargots. Since it was dark while having dinner I couldn't tell if I as eating a mushroom or a escargot. In the future I'll stick to escargots in garlic & butter which I love. I was with 3 other people. Two of them had the daily special of mixed grill seafood which they loved.

Thanks so much for posting this report. I wish them much success in their new location, it seems as if they would never get there. The pictures were perfect. Did the menu change at all?

Thanks so much for the lovely pictures. The place looks very nice but I do have to admit, I think the other restaurant seemed to have a bit more atmosphere with the sand floors and the tent style ceiling. This does seem nice as it is right on the water but it looks like it is lacking something in its decour??? I am sure the food is the same fantastic style, presentation and of course delicious.

Liz, thanks for the clip on mirandi's. IT looked great. My husband and I were wondering if the island off in the backround was depalm island or renaissance?
Thanks again, we're looking forward to our next visit in april and that is our favorite restuarant.
