    Matthews

Matthews is our fall back restaurant when we stay at the Divi. It's where we go when we want to go off resort but don't want to take a taxi. So we need up there on Thanksgiving. Instead of turkey we both went with the lasagna. They make a surprisingly good lasagna, served with warm rolls. Since it was Italian night it came with free dessert; tiramisu. Service is always top notch here. The food is good and it's a relaxed pace.

I have often wanted to try their lasagna!

it is nice indeed to go off resort once in a while.

have you tried "windows?".........i think that the divi gives some type of a dining credit for "windows" if you are in an all inclusive
    package.

Andrea, Divi AI pays a $35 pp surcharge for Windows. $42 for Sunday brunch. We have been and I enjoyed it. The rack of lamb was amazing but Tom felt they hovered. He still
talks about the deconstructed brownie and ice cream. One tablespoon of vanilla ice cream with 3 minuscule cubes of brownie and a tablespoon of whipped cream on each corner of the plate. He wouldn't go back but I would.

I love the atmosphere at Matthew's. Great place to start the day with an inexpensive breakfast. The chicken parm is a favorite of mine for dinner.
