    Mexican Food

I am hearing there is a new restaurant that opened December 2012. It is called "Mexicado" located in the Hyatt Regency. (One review on trip advisor.) For anyone who likes Mexican food it is worth a try. I don't see a menu on there site however. Happy Travels.

I stated in original post there was one review on trip advisor----

Cp Jones--I emailed the site to request info but no reply as of yet. The $$$ does appear if that tells us anything--lol. 3 days and counting. 11 degrees here this a.m. If i can get the chance to go here I will report back when I "sadly" return.

Eleven degrees for you! Same here in Massachusetts... today, tomorrow and into Friday..... BIG FAT YUCK! At least you'll be in Aruba for the weekend!

Now I'm really ready for some great spicy Mexican food.... I look forward to your report back!

We ate here right after New Years Day. Unfortunately, I can't say we enjoyed our dinner. I had a skirt steak entree and my husband chicken enchiladas. We had a appetizer of Queso fundido (sp) and Flan for dessert. We shared a pitcher of Margarita's which were very small. Maybe it was just that they were still working out the kinks, but it was nothing what we expected. We thought it was very pricey for what it was. With the tip our bill was $130.00.

welcome to the aruba.com community forum.
....with that kind of pricing, one would expect a good/great dinner without disappointments. what did you folks find wrong with your entrees?

    TraceyB,

OH Goodness---$130.00 I did see the three $$$ for pricing which usually means on the "high side" which is rather unusual for Mexican food. I think I will reconsider this one my list. There is a cute mexican restaurant that is upstairs which is highly reasonable. I have been there before, not usually on my have to lists but if I have the urge for Mexcian food I shall visit there. It is next to TGIF's--Thanks for letting us know.
