    MIA Restaurants

In another thread, somebody mentioned "Quinta Del Carmen" and I thought, "Wow! That one fell off the radar!"

So which restaurants have gone "Missing In Action"? And why do you think they did?

I'm going to start with "Amuse Bistro"... I suspect the move away from Palm Beach has limited traffic.

    good posting!

I suppose too that the move away from Palm Beach has caused Amuse to lose business.
Many folks do not want to pay the taxi and many do not rent cars.

Another one that fell off radar too is Flying Fishbone.
I bet too, that it is the location away from the tourist area that has caused the radar "unsightings."
I think that Barefoot has taken away a lot of the Flying Fishbone business.

I agree Quinta Del Carmen has definitely fallen off the radar. A few years ago it was all the rage. I haven’t heard much about that Italian place everyone was talking about a year ago either, La Terraza?

    Terrazza Italiana

    You are right Peg!
This place has such great potential.
Mema is an awesome cook/chef, however her wait staff leaves a lot to be desired.
    Service is sometimes painfully slow.

I think she should try the Carte Blanche concept dining.

At Terrazza, she seems to want to get all appertizers out all at the same time, no matter how long one has been sitting there AND also the same with entrees.
So maybe that Carte Blance/2 Fools concept is what she should be geared to.

Agree. Flying Fishbone is still worth the effort.

I believe that Barefoot and Quinta Del Carmen have the same owner.

Quinta Dela Carmen is on my list for August. Orange cosmo sounds great.
