My lovely daughters and two friends are dining tonight at MJ's on me.... I must say I am sooo jealous.....wish I were with them.....can't wait to hear how it was...

i can taste the almond encrusted grouper in my imagination.
i hope they also had some of the white asparagus

the way i have had them there have been plain/steamed........perfect for my taste.
paul has had them with some type of a sauce........hollandaise?

here is this yrs white asparagus menu in past yrs, when we have been there in the month of may, i have always ordered a side of asparagus PLAIN steamed.

I'm going to MJ's tomorrow night with friends.
So far this week we had white asparagus soup at Screaming Eagle and also one of our appetizers at Carte Blanche was salmon over white asparagus prepared the traditional Dutch way with choppd eggs. Papillon has a few white asparagus dished on their menu as well.
