Thumbs down MJ's didn'tmeet our expectations

Hello,

Would someone please tell me what their favorite food is at Madame Janettes? My son and his wife returned last night and said that restaurant was the worst of all. He had the Mahi and she had the grouper. Both dry and tasteless. My husband and I have eaten there twice and we were not impressed. The server told us that they feed so many people that they have line cooks pre-making the food assembly line style. This might be the reason that my lamb chops, ordered medium rare were well done and my husband's steak was tough. Also,we like a leisurely dinner, and they try to turn the tables over three times to max their profit. Perhaps we have had bad luck with them. Please advise.

We too have had two lackluster meals there. But still everyone raves...different strokes for different folks. My Mom and Dad ate there the first week in August and loved it. Our tastes in cuisine, food and service and similar so go figure.

my favorite meal is almond encrusted grouper w/ augratin potatoes and side order of creamed spinach
husband's favorite is rack of lamb.

we have never had a bad, mediocre meal there.
a couple of times we were uncomfortable (miserable) as there was no breeze and we flt like we were going to pass out.

we have reservations there for christmas eve 2007.
