    MJ's Lamb

Ok guys help me out here... I need lamb lovers who have eaten lamb at MJ's

i sware the last time we had lamb at MJs it had a rub on it and wasn't covered in gravy.

Waiter tells me its always been served like that. I disagree...HELP ME OUT does anyone remember???
mine was covered in gravy tonite and I swore it was wrong.
meal was less than stellar tonite and I am greatly disappointed.
blue cheese wedge which we shared had tasteless blue cheese dressing, it was watered down.
Bang bang shrimp didn't even look like shrimp, they were these little mini things and did not resemble any shrimp I had ever seen. Resembled popcorn chicken from KFC. Asked for Kasi and he wasn't there.

    None to happy.

    Oh no
Paul thinks that the last time that he had lamb there, there was no gravy/sauce on it.
He is going thru the computer now looking to see if we have a photo.

So sorry to hear that you were disappointed
    Gee

Lots of pictures on Trip Advisor..... think all with 2 sauces.... béarnaise which is light and perhaps a pan reduction which is dark.

Just went on TA.... and all had sauces except for one with only onion strings..

Paul says it was kind of a glaze, maybe a reduction.

But, he did say not a gravy.

The photo he found was from 5 or 6 yrs ago which is too old to use as a reference.

cindy........did rob have the burger loin?

No but he wished he did. Rob had lamb. We both agreed the gravy was to much and tasted like beef. Thanks for checking everyone. Last meal for us here in Aruba tonite. Packing ugh.

Hate to say it, but, MJs was our last night choice because we've always loved it....and it just didn't seen special anymore. Out of the nine nights of eating out, MJs was our only disappointment. I think people go there by habit or because of recommendations, I think that will change soon.

actually, they lost one party of four already. I met a friend this evening who just flew in. When she asked me about recommendations I recommended she take MJs off her list. She did.

I will only add that the creamed spinach and augrautin potato sides were good as always. Lamb was cooked fine just drowned in gravy.
Best part.... Deep fried Oreo's with ice cream and whipped cream.
SO ... All not bad .

Did you eat there another night during this trip? How was it then?

I am positive Chef Kasi will step in and make things "right".
