I have read so many rave reviews of MJ's that I am definitely going to eat there on our visit. I went onto their website to check out the menu and it's pretty pricey. I am assuming that it's well worth it and will give it a shot. I hope it's not like a lot of high end restaurants where you go and drop $200 for dinner for two and come home thinking a box of KD would have tasted better. lol!
I suppose we need to make reservations?

M.J.'s is my favorite restaurant. I have never been disappointment in their food. Yes, it is pricey, but for me it is well worth it. Yes, you definetly need reservations.

absolutely make reservations and remember they are closed on sunday.

we are heading there august 17

if you are a grouper lover, one of their most popular dishes is almond crusted grouper with a bit of creamed spinach. their dutch potatoes are delicious. their salads are cold, crisp and wonderful. their mixed drinks are large, top quality and really beautiful looking.

my husband's favorite meal is the lamb chops.

my son's is the beef and lobstertail (versace?)

my daughterinlaw loves their steak.

3 adults with 1 alcoholic beverage might be a bit less than $200.

you must go!

I will for sure! How far in advance should I reserve? Can I do it online? I tried to call but like most places in Aruba, I couldn't get through or no answer. I love grouper and I like spinach so that's the dish for me. Unfortunately, I cant stand lobster or crab. I know I'm weird, just me. I saw a show on the discovery channel about lobsters when I was a kid and it said how their closest living relative on land is the spider! I never got over it and although I've tried it since then (in fact just last month) I can't seem to enjoy it. I always start thinking "spider" of which I'm deathly afraid. Even little spiders give me panic attacks.
It's too bad since everyone else seems to really enjoy shellfish.

make your reservations at least 1 week in advance.
send them an email to JORGE's attention n the subject box.

email is mjrestaurant@setarnet.aw

my favorite location in the garden is to the right hand side of the musicians.
while in aruba i will take some photos of madam janette and post them in my gallery.
in fact check my gallery, i am sure there are some there now.
(see my avator??? BOOTSY is giving me a good face washing. under the photo it says 56 images. click on the 56 and see if there are MJ photos.)

your dislike for lobster or crab is unfortunate, but different strokes for different folks. me, i cannot choke down sushi, swordfish or any freshwater fish.

We enjoyed Mme J's a week ago Fri.... AGAIN.... everything was perfect! Mme J's continues to be on the top of our list! Definately needed reservations, even during low season, the place is packed! Regarding price.... 4 of us with a couple of bottles of wine and a couple of glasses of wine and dessert and a ceasar salad (one salad fed four of us!!) and coffe all around and a good tip was about $250
