Has anyone ever found a really good Mojito on the island? Maybe it's just my taste, but they have WAY too much mint for me, the few I've tried in Aruba.

It really just depends on the bartender. I used to have excellent ones at Amsterdam Manor's beach bar until my favorite bartender left. I have since found someone else there that makes good ones but there are certain bartenders I stay away from if that's what I'm ordering. Same with Bugaloe....and everywhere else. Just have to find the right bartender who makes them the way you like.

My favorite Mojito, beside the ones that I make, is from Madame Janet. The second best is from Cuba's Cooking as long as you request the premium dark Cuban rum otherwise, it is just ok.

I love the mojitos at cubas cooking made with the cuban rum Havana Club. They have different flavors too. They offer a free mojito with dinner with the coupon on the book they give out at the airport. I've used it a few times but haven't dinned there the last few trips.

I guess it depends on who is tending bar at Pinchos that night. I had one back in Feb. at Pinchos that was full of mint. The night before, I had one at West Deck that was delicious.
