    Mojitos Cantina & Grill

There are those like me who really enjoyed Maambo-Jambo's. Unfortunately, the new owners are now Mojito's Cantina & Grill. They are located downtown near the main plaza.....just south of Iguana Joe's.

I was just killing some time and decided to stop by for a snak (drink and nachos). They do have Wi-Fi and the password is MENTA, and the signal strength is good.

The decor is similar and the house drink is the Mojito, which they do a good job in preparing.

The nacho's on the other hand need some work. I can't imagine a latin themed restaurant serving a basic dish and using the creamy cheese and salsa which appeared to come from a can!!!!

Maybe the server was having an off day, as the place was not that crowded. They were very friendly, but it's a good thing I had a napkin and ordered something which they figured didn't need any utensils, because I never received a place setting.

All in all, the place seemed upbeat, however I miss Maambo-Jambo's and based on my experience yesterday, Mojito's has some work to do.

maybe the owners will read this and change up their recipe for their nacho cheese and salsa.
