Moomba's New Roof

Moomba beach bar has a new roof. The big palapa hut came crashing down last week. This has been replaced by a tubular metal frame with a stretched fabric. Not as quaint, but good to see them up and running.

Bon dia.

Well, I am very glad that the bar is back up and running! But I will miss the traditional palapa roof. It's what made the Moomba the Moomba. Quintescential Aruba! Thanks for sharing the link for the new picture, keep them coming, I do love your blog!

Wow - that changes the entire atmosphere over there. Hopefully it is just a temporary fix.

Step 1: Hire qualified engineer, possibly from Urban Engineers, Philadelphia, USA

Step 2: As per engineers specs and design, use copious amounts of concrete and steel installed by qualified and vetted contractor.

Step 3: Don't worry about anything other than whether or not the coolers are functioning properly.
