    Greetings from moomba beach!

Thank you all for your concern and well wishes!

Yes, fortunately there were no serious injuries here ( i learned one broken arm - most serious)

Last night crazy winds caused the roof in the bar to slip right off the side.

I learned that by Friday all the palm leaves will be stored away and there will be a big canopy put up - big bar will reopen on Friday.

As I type from the restaurant, it is full of fellow lunchers , the middle bar is full of happy guests with frozen drinks- I can hear the blender buzzing away. Great music is playing, sun shinining and not an empty lounge chair on the beach.

The place is full of well-wishers!

I will pass along all of your nice comments to your friends at Moomba!

I know- it is a blessing! the pictures DO look dreadful... But honeslty if you could see all the people here, it feels like a bit like nothing happened at all.

thanks again for the concern! it means a lot!

Thanks "Jolly" for the update on what could have been a tragic situation. There is nothing better than a first hand, birds eye view info.

Jolly - thanks! This is our absolute "favorite" place to have lunch/dinner. Glad everyone is ok and nothing too too serious!
