    My Quandary!

OK... so 3 weeks from tomorrow it's 8 wonderful nights at the Radisson and still puzzling over the dinner plans... here goes:

    The definates are-

    Mme J's... reservations booked.
Texas d Brazil.... probably first night. Nothing like it at home.
White Modern Cuisine.. need to decide what night.
Sunset Grille for our last night with a casino comp (every year
    tradition).

    The wanna do's-

Cooks... great reviews & really want to try. Almost a definate
Pago Pago.... an old favorite, but so many other choices too.

    The economy choices-

    Bavaria... DW loves potato pancakes.
Tango.... love the Argentine beef and the early bird special.
Smokey Joe's... always great and dependable.
Fishes 'n' More... early bird special all night tuesday.
Bugaloo..... sunset dining on a shoestring.

The 'no time for but love 'em-

Yemanja... love it, but distance since we don't rent a car
    Chef's Tables.... ditto
    Amadeus... ditto
    Suisse Chalet... ditto
and.... so many other great places.

    The won't do-

    El Gaucho.... done with it

This is the plight of a foodie..... what we decide on and what we just have to wait for. And...... I have to plan dinner being done for the fireworks on Wed so we can be on the beach!!!

Thank goodness that lunch and b'fast is covered with the Rad or I'd go absolutely nutzo!

I always try to mix in new spots withy my favorites but each trip it gets more difficult because I always add new favorites! Yemanja is on my list for this trip. We almost made it there last time but after taking a taxi over we found it closed on Sunday. I also really wanted to try Queens Bar but understand it's moving. is Tango next to Fishes and More? we always go to Salt and Pepper for tapas and I'm curious about those 2 spots.

I have the same problem as yourself. We will be in Aruba next Sat. counting the days. Whenever we go I always tend to go to the same places. This time I am adding some new ones--no matter what. I cannot leave out my first night tradition which is always Smokey Joes. Love it the mason jar drinks!! I am going to go to

    Smokeys Joe
    Madamn Jeanattes a must
Aqua Grill? I never hear that mentioned? New to me
    Matthews New to me
    Bugaloe new to us
    Pinchos
    Waky Wahoo (new)

Or Windows on the Green. I hear this very good.

I also want to do Breakfast at Moomba beach, and Scotts Brats. What do you think of these for new places? I hope I am not dissapointed in the newer ones. I have omitted Driftwood, The steak places, the mexican food place and Iquanna Joes. I know it is hard to decide where to go for a new experience.

Mme J's is the #1 must do for us.... you will like Aqua Grill. Haven't done that for a few years, but was always good. I am making progress with Cook's being eliminated.

VERY casual, could really do as lunch or inexpensive dinner.

Windows on Aruba? Check the menu http://www.windowsonaruba.com/download/MainMenu.pdf and make sure it is within your tastes and price range. For fine dining it is by far one of our favorites on the island.
