Hi all. Hubby and I are frequent Aruba travelers and we recently recommended a bunch of restaurants to our friends that were going there for the first time. One night they decided to try a restaurant that was not on our list and said it was actaully the best one they went to all week (of course they couldn't remember the name). They were staying at the Westin and said they were doing the "beach walk" down the high rises and came across this restaurant (not a bar) that was on the beach/pier. I'm drawing a blank. Any ideas which restaurant this was. The hubby thought it was called Pirate's Nest but wife said No. I belive there is a Pirate's Nest restaurant but it's not on the beach in the hi-rise section. Thanks.

does bugaloo serve food?

Yes, the Bugaloe does serve food but it's more of a casual/bar menu - snacks, sandwiches, wraps, pizza, etc. We have lunch there at least once per trip (and drinks, too, of course.)

The Pelican Nest (near the Holiday Inn) is more of a dinner atmosphere.
