Your top 2 on your own list are the ones you want for seafood. Passions & Windows for romance, it can happen on the Tranquilo also! Happy 1st & may you have many more in Aruba, we also discovered Aruba as a cruise stop on our 3rd, last June we spent our 22nd at Windows on Aruba, with many visits in between!

Maine lobster is flown in. Off the top of my head, I cannot think of anywhere which has it, maybe Aqua Grill?

LOCAL lobster would be Caribbean lobster, smaller tails and less sweet than Maine Lobster.
I was reading somewhere for one of the islands that the lobster was flown in. What type of fish is Wahoo?

Okay, Aqua Grill does have Maine lobster. I don't recall do you live in the UK? If not and you live in the U.S. or Canada, you could more than likely buy it cheaper at home.

Thanks! I really don't want Maine Lobster... I am from NY )

One last question.. I promise What should we pack in the way of dinner clothes? Are shorts acceptable at most places? Nice linen slacks for men? If linen slacks, are flip flops ok?

I brought jeans and shoes last year and think even that was overdressing. I will probably bring nice jeans again - but will probably go with sandals.

I am going to pack as little as possible for the next few trips. I have been overpacking for years.

http://www.aruba.com/forum/f22/divi-resort-dress-code-31348/ As Rob stated in this thread, he only wears shorts while in Aruba. My dh is the same as well. If your man feels like "dressing up" it is perfectly acceptable, but if he wants to go more casual that is fine too. Footwear can be anything, including flip flops.

My dh has taken to wearing pleated twill shorts with a button down short sleeve shirt.

Dd and I wear sundresses with sandals at night. For women a nice pair of shorts or capris with a nice top are perfectly acceptable as well.

If you plan on dinner at Paparazzi, bring along a light sweater. It if BY FAR the coldest restaurant in the Caribbean. AND the only time while you are in Aruba that you will need a sweater. Well, okay , maybe some of the casinos.

Since your at the Tam, you can eat at all the places there and the restaurants at the Divi AI right next door.
Rent a Jeep for 2 days, go to the following 2 restaurants:
Marina Pirata=$80 for 2 people, great atmosphere
Old Man and the Sea=$100 for 2 people, waaaay better that the Flying Fishbone which packs people in like sardines.

Save your $30pp at Windows Aruba and use it to upgrade from a car to a Jeep, you'll be stuffed at all the food at the Tam and Divi.

Get a map of the island and go to the Natural Pool, you'll definitely need a jeep to get there.
